A decomposed body of a man found in his bedroom after four years in Ibadan

Remnants of a decomposed body of a man found in his bedroom after four years at Apete, Ibadan, Oyo state.

The unknown identified deceased was said to have been seen by neighbors four years ago on his usual trip to Ibadan from Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, where he lived ; and the cause of his death is yet to be known.

Residents stated that no one knew about the incident until this week when community decided to enter the compound due to the overgrown grass in it because it has become home for rodents and snakes.

It was said that the people contracted for cutting grasses made the discovery when they scaled the fence because the gate was locked from inside; they discovered his car ,already covered with grasses, in his compound.

After cutting all the grasses, they peeped through the window and saw the skeleton of decomposed corpse on the bed with his phone in his hand.

The Oyo state police command officers are still carrying out thorough investigation on the incident.
