Chief Bisi Idaomi Esq has expressed shock following the demise of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder of Nigeria’s foremost independent television network, Africa Independent Television (AIT)

In a statement issued through her Media Assistant, Chief Idaomi described Dokpesi as a trailblazer in the private broadcasting in Nigeria.

“I received with shock the sad news of the demise of a man who was kind to me in all aspects, Chief Raymond Dokpesi. To me, he’s the father of modern day private broadcasting as he founded AIT at a critical time in our country’s history.”

“He will be remembered by those he empowered and all Nigerians for his generosity and great ideas in the broadcasting industry, indeed he was a trailblazer.”

“I pray God almighty grant him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”
