A report from Ikosi Junior High School, Ikosi Ketu.

At Mr Biggs Bus Stop , along Ikosi Road Ketu around 1400hrs, 4 Kidnappers were nearly lynched in a failed effort to kidnap a young girl. They attempted to escape through the gate that leads to Ketu Fruit market but unfortunately, they met the gate locked and they were apprehended by the mob.

It was reported that they had used a charm on their target, by tapping her chest which made her unconscious. She started following them until one of her neighbors, who were suspected of her eccentric walking and the strange faces she was following, started calling her name but neither respond nor show consciousreaction. She raised alarm, having understood the girl might have been enthralled with charm, and the kidnappers started running away.

They were apprehended by the mob, stripped, and nearly set them ablaze before police intervention; they were taken away with their van.
